I have found lots of pics that I'd like as a wallpaper but I can't find one that seems to fit well, even if they are the proper 640x480 resolution or whatever it is. It seems like, no matter what size the pic I have is, it always makes me crop it...then, since it's smaller than it originally was, it gets blown up and the resolution goes to crap.

I love this site but even the ones here haven't worked too well for me. What is the trick to getting/making a good quality wallpaper background for my t-mobile G1?

Any help greatly appreciated!
