As you may know, our goal here at Sciphone is to be the best at everything we do, so we've been working behind the scenes on something special for all of our users:

Sciphoneapps! Just like the name implies, we will be launching a new and improved constantly updated easy to use website that will outline all the applications available ( web app / app store / jailbreak ) The user experience is intuitive and simple. Find everything you're looking for, and discover something you'll love to use.

We are currently in very early beta for the site, but we plan to launch on August 22nd, the same time the iPhone 3G will be launching in 20+ countries around the world. Stay tuned!

Stupid question but how do we install apps now on our phone? I downloaded a few games and see them in my Java but it wont open?

Well depending on what kind of app it is:

App Store - Just download and install via iTunes, do all the syncing and everything there.

Web App - Generally this will be a URL ( i.e. http://mobile.sciphone.net ) once you get to the main pages of those apps, you want to add them to your homescreen by saving it as a favorite on your phone. This way you have a nice quick icon you and press to go directly to the app.

Others - These include jailbreak apps and other 3rd party apps that require you to unlock / jailbreak your phone, we try to stray away from these as the two other sources listed above happen to offer more.
